Lots of experience and know-how

We warmly welcome our new colleague Klaus Harder to the RECASE team.

Klaus has been working in the renewable energy industry for 35 years and has extensive experience in wind, solar and energy storage.  In his new role as “Business Development Manager Solar & Wind” he will focus on renewable energy projects in East Africa.

In sub-Saharan Africa, there are still 600 million people without access to electricity. Sustainable Development Goal 7 of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals sets the agenda: Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

The latest action plan aims to provide 300 million people with access to electricity by 2030 through grid expansion, mini-grids and PV self-supply systems.

At RECASE, we hope to make a small contribution to tackling this major challenge in collaboration with local partners.
